Demand Planner

WORKSTREET established in 1995 since the very beginning is servicing Clients basing on very high quality standards and specializing in searching for key specialists for middle and top managerial positions.For our prestigious Client – an international FMCG company (premium alcohols) we are looking for professional who would take the new created position of:
Demand PlannerReports to S&OP Manager BU EE Location: WarsawPosition Overview
Responsible for developing Demand Plan and executing inventory plans that will enable to meet sales and service objectives. Collaboration with other members of the supply chain, Customer Service BU EE. Responsible for marketing, and customer support teams is paramount to achieve these sales, service objectives and cost optimization. Creates, develops, produces and collects demand forecasts.

Duties and Responsibilities
Demand forecasting – Development of statistical demand forecasts utilizing computerized software tools such as SAP APO and integrate of interface with excel or Web data from the distributors of the BU EEMonthly collaboration with Area Manager, marketing personnel in order to incorporate “marketing intelligence” into the demand forecasts.forecasting sales of individual productsInventory management- Establishment of replenishment lot sizing consistent with manufacturing and transportation costs, inventory objectives, and manufacturing/ distribution center capacities.Development and implementation of corrective actions preventing future variances.Preparation of sales analysis and monitoring of current salesManage the planning processesParticipate in the S & OP processSupply of products within the supply chain and maintain their proper level work closely with the sales, marketing, production and distribution in order to optimize the flow of information
Requirements:
Higher education (studies in logistics, forecasting and statistical methods)2-3 years of experience in planning and forecasting in the FMCG industryAbility to operate prognostic models and very familiar Office tools (Excel / Access).Fluent English and Russian a plusExperience on logistics or industrial engineeringDemonstrated ability to use analytical and statistical models to analyze demand and prepare forecasts, preferably in APODemonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional, team orient environment
