Work ContentProcurement of material at best value and in time in order to support the production schedule:
Procures material from domestic and/or foreign suppliers in order to support production requirements, while following ordering policies.Maintains purchase orders, reconciles invoice and purchase order issues.Creates and updates forecasts for suppliers.Communicates with suppliers & builds relationships, manages supplier performance.Communicates with internal customers in efforts to meet company objectives (operations, engineering, quality, finance).Supports Transition team to ensure project plans are updated and material and/or shop overload objectives are met.Supports Material Management objectives by focusing on inventory optimization, on-time delivery improvement, and material productivity increase.Prepares & analyzes reports to demonstrate material management metrics’ performance.Coordinates transportation with suppliers.Takes care of administrative tasks related to purchasing.Actively participates in assigned company projects.Actively participates in continuous improvement by contributing with own ideas and by solving assigned tasks.RequirementsBachelor’s degree or above strongly desirable.Experience in Manufacturing environment a plusPC acumen (knowledge of MS Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word a must; MS Project, Power Point, and SAP a plus).Fluent English requiered.Strong communication and presentation skills.Strong organizational and planning skillsDriver’s license (type B) a plus.Knowledge of Russian a plus.Ability to work in a team environment.Flexibility to take on new responsibilities in a dynamic changing environment.Eager to learn new skills, including materials & technology.Sense of urgencyCustomer focus.
