We are looking to recruit an experienced electronics / electrical engineer to be based from the Czech Republic, covering that country along with Poland and Slovakia. You will be providing service for for Non-Contact Measurement Systems and Control Solutions for commercial / engineering customers. The ideal candidate will be based in Prague or Brno and if successful with their application will be looking to earn in the region of 800,000 Czech Crowns per annum (45,000 USD).
You should be from a time-served engineering background, having system integration experience and demonstrating troubleshooting skill. Working exposure with industrial process-driven applications and basic knowledge of quality control methodology is desired. A “customer first mindset” and multi-lingual communication skill-set is necessary for success. Experience with laser based measurement systems desired but not mandatory – theoretical background with lasers and optics being a working advantage.

Position Requirements and Highlights - Field Service EngineeElectrical / Electronics Engineering and Computer Science (BcA or Ing) from an accredited study programme (180-240 ECTS credits)Applied understanding of interface protocol, analog and digital circuit analysis, electrical systems, optics and low power lasers – technical training will be provided, along with tools, spares and know how on their non-contact measurement and control systemsFluent in spoken and written English with additional secondary foreign language skills in German and Russian – professional demeanour, excellent customer interaction and a “can do” attitude along with a good driving recordPractical / commercial work experience in a technical discipline required and working experience as a Field Service Engineer preferredExposure to industrial applications and factory automation including safety and risk prevention practicesResponsible for on-site equipment installations, troubleshooting, product/system commissioning and customer training – includes all on-site repairs, service maintenance, calibration and technical support during normal and after hours for customers within a regional territory (Eastern Europe, Middle East, NEC Africa, Austria and neighbouring areas as they may further develop)Demonstrated ability in working on one’s own with solid initiative, resourcefulness and analytical skills including the focus and dedication to deliver in meeting customer expectationsThe Field Service Engineer will be home based and work in close cooperation with the Regional Sales Manager.
