You will be required to deal on a day-to-day basis, with all aspects relating to Payments, Reconciliations and Reporting. You will assist and support the Finance Team in a day to day activities and period-end close. Working to support a Call Centre environment, you will need to be a self-motivated, professional and able to work as part of a team. We aim t o provide the highest quality service and to exceed our client’s expectations.Daily duties such as : Perform daily reconciliations of client processor reports Perform daily validation checks of reports against customer funds Process bank entries across various payment platforms required to meet strict guidelines Investigate any reconciling items or discrepancies within the daily reports expeditiously Complete month-end reconciliations within the specified timelines Prepare and review month-end closure process Responsible for balance sheet general ledger accounts Provide financial analysis to aid management on an ad hoc basis, include preparation of reports Liaise with other internal/external stakeholders on any reconciliation issues or queries Prepare responses to queries from auditors regarding your area of responsibility Awareness of procedures, policies, and internal controls Act as a business partner to key stakeholders, operations Answer inquiries from head office timely and accuratelyWhat you'll need to succeedEssential Previous 3-4 years’ experience in similar roleMulti-lingual in European languages in addition to English Knowledge of an ERP system (MS Great Plains highly preferred) Knowledge of Sage Pay Knowledge of finance, accounting, reporting, trial balance Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills AAT qualified or similar (prefer part qualified ACCA student)What you'll get in return Competitive salary - £28,000- £32,000 dependant on experience.
