About you: - As a key part of our Support Team, you will provide proactive operational monitoring and support of customer networks and devices. This position is responsible for technical support and issues that come into the Operations Center via the customer and/or monitoring software.There will be an expectation that you will respond to escalations and resolve issues that arise from hardware and software failures on our network. In addition, you will be required to visit a customer site or the companies’ datacentres on occasions.    What you need to exceed in this role: - 2+ years supporting critical infrastructure systems    CCNA certification or equivalent combination of education and experience required.    Previous experience in a Network Operations Centre preferred.    Ability to work independently and accommodate out of hours work when required.    Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.    Excellent communications skills (verbal and written).    Exceptional attention to detail.    Self-starter who can find and resolve issues as they are identified.    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other job-related software; basic understanding of Microsoft Visio    Strong familiarity with PC, networking and electronics systems    Basic understanding of networking concepts including Internet Protocol (IP) addressing/subnetting, Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN), Layer 2 switching, Layer 3 routing and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and Domain Name System (DNS)    Basic experience with Network Management System (NMS) and monitoring applications    Strong network problem isolation, resolution, analytical and diagnostic skills    Ability to respond to network issues during on-call periods    Knowledge of Mobile technology (5G/4G/LPWAN, Private and Public APN)    Networking & Security background (i.e. Networking, Security, SD-WAN etc.).    Experience of enterprise Mobile, LAN and WAN, wireless and firewall technologies    Experience of routing, switching and security technologies.    Experience of tunnelling protocols such as L2TP, IPSEC and OpenVPN    Experience of LinuxWhat you will get from us: -We will provide you with a Personal Development Plan, training and coaching as required.
