Plumbers required at HMP Lancaster Farms, temporary to permanent contract, 39 hours per week, £17.20 per hourYour new companyYou will be working at HM Prison Lancaster Farms for a facilities management and maintenance company. This company ensures that all maintenance projects throughout the prison are completed to a high standard.Your new roleYour new job will be a temporary role with the view of going permanent. You will be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance. Some of the responsibilities will include installing and maintaining heating systems, repairing sanitation systems, fitting appliances and emergency repairs. All tools and materials will be provided, and you could be asked to work 1 in 3 or 1 in 4 weekends but majority will be Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00. Working weekends is paid at over times rates.What you'll need to succeed4 year minimum apprenticeship/qualification period. You will need to be able to pass an enhanced vetting procedure to be considered for this roleWhat you'll get in returnYou will be paid £17.20 per hour, plus any overtime rates if you work weekends. This will be paid on a weekly basis.
