IT Operations EngineerThe IT Operations Engineer will report to the IT Manager and be responsible for supporting, managing, and implementing the company's software and hardware objectives in the short and long term. They will use critical thinking to achieve optimal results while managing costs, and work with end-users as needed for product/service rollouts, training, and post-deployment support. The position involves supporting the implementation of the company's technology goals, working with end-users, and ensuring cost-effective results.What you get to do every single day·      Provide support for network infrastructure management and maintenance·      Rapidly assess and resolve network issues to maintain business continuity·      Conduct system backups and ensure critical data redundancy·      Help define and implement business solutions that involve external software systems (ERP, e-commerce platform, payment systems)·      Serve as the internal backup for the IT Department Manager·      Be the point person for projects that involve external service providers·      Verify backups, monitor servers, and network performance·      Improve system performance by identifying and resolving problemsWhat you bring to the role·      Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field·      Excellent communication skills, both oral and written·      Knowledge of computer networking and information management systems and infrastructure·      Ability to research, analyze, and conceptualize long-term information systems needs on an organizational basis·      Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems and communicate guidance to users·      Knowledge of LANs and proficiency with PCs·      Experience with operating systems and system administration·      Firewall experience, Understanding of the urgency to resolve critical IT issues that impact the businessRequirementsMicrosoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Dell Technologies, Enterprise Resource Planning, Network Troubleshooting, Network Troubleshooting
