Senior Quantity Surveyor - Derby - Permanent - Major Framework - Water Infrastructure & Non-InfrastructureYour new companyYou will be joining an established Civil Engineering and Building contractor based in Derby working on a major water framework in the Midlands. This company has a strong pipeline of work across a multitude of different sectors, specialising in the associated water infrastructure schemes, and has an excellent reputation for investing in their people. They have a proven successful track record of delivering high quality construction projects across the UK and Ireland and are now looking to onboard a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on multiple exciting design and build projects across the Midlands.Your new roleIn this role you will be responsible for, but not limited to, assisting with the commercial completion of contracts, producing information for tenders and PQQ’s, ensuring immediate submissions of invoices and applications of payments, preparing accurate financial statements, establishing appropriate contracts with clients to suit procurement needs and working under and within strict deadlines.What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you will have a qualification (or experience equivalent) in Quantity Surveying (HNC, degree etc.) and have experience in NEC3/4 contracts. Working towards RICS (or equivalent) is desirable. In addition, you will hold a clean driving licence and be able to work within a delivery team with numerous drivers.
