Robert Half has an open Network Administrator position available at a reputable company. If you are success-driven, an organized problem solver, and passionate about ensuring and maintaining a stable network infrastructure, this job may be for you. You will ensure security, integrity and high-availability of enterprise systems and related components to develop, administer and maintain the network infrastructure to support the business. You should be comfortable working with constantly changing software, hardware, network security programs, and data storage systems. It will be crucial for you to stay current and fully informed through ongoing education. This full-time position is a great opportunity for a Network Administrator who wants to work in the Fort Lee, New Jersey, region.Your responsibilities- Upgrading network software and hardware- Troubleshooting and resolving local area networks / wide area network performance, connectivity and related network problems- Administering control measures for LAN/WAN security, antivirus and spam- Administering the operation of all local area networks / wide area network related services according to company policies and proceduresRequirements- Previous experience with production and on-call environments- 5+ years of related experience- Deep understanding of Network Security- Adeptness in Hardware and Software- Information network security experience preferred- Computer Hardware experience- Data Center Infrastructure experience desired- Desktop Hardware experience- Experience with network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN/WAN operations- Highly capable of troubleshooting, analyzing and diagnosing issues
