Located in Frederick, Maryland as a short-term contract / temporary opportunity, the General Office Clerk will perform various administrative support tasks, including operating office equipment and completing general clerical work.Key responsibilities- Offer help with front desk and receptionist duties- Provide support on diverse employee projects as necessary- Offer friendly customer service accurately and quickly- Demonstrate command of prescribed style and format when drafting correspondence- Interface with customers in a friendly manner- Data entry, word processing, filing, scanning, copying, and faxing- Handle incoming and outgoing telephone callsRequirements- Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills- Flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments- High school diploma or its equivalent is required- Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks- Word and Excel experience is desired- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines- 1+ years of Office Clerk experience recommended- Scanning experience- Command of Scanning Documents- Prepared to handle office equipment
