Bill Watts at Robert Half is currently working with a dynamic client looking for a Property Staff/Senior Accountant. The ideal Property Accountant will have experience in accounting and property management, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and preferably Yardi. Then this may be the role for you.What you get to do every single day- Work up intricate account reconciliations and journal entries- Support the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls- Arrange monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting- Maintain capital lease and monthly payment schedules- Sustain fixed-asset ledger, depreciation and reconciliation- Prepare financial statements and reporting packages- Coordinate and examine financial data and report it in a clear, useful mannerRequirements- Experience with industry specific accounting software preferred- Reliable skills in Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skills- Previous experience in accounting, real estate accounting, CAM or property accounting preferred- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required- Multi-Entity or Multi-Location Accounting preferred
