This is a position you will thrive in, if you have a complex understanding of Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets.How you will make an impact- Organize schedules for monthly payments and capital lease- Compose analyses for income statements and monthly balance sheets for management reporting- In-depth experience with reconciling month end balance sheet accounts- Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that accounting procedures comply with GAAP- Support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process by preparing monthly financial close workbooks- Produce complex journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll- Recurring journal entries maintenance and reconciliation- Manage intercompany reconciliation, billings, and transactions- Perform the month end close and produce journal entries under minimal supervision- Participate in various department-wide initiatives- Upon request, take part in special projects and impromptu reporting- Maintain fixed asset ledgers, depreciation, and reconciliation- Analyze and coordinate a variety of financial data, and report it in a useful and understandable mannerPosted by Director of Recruiting Scott MooreRequirements- Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases- BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics- ERP system experience- Spreadsheet and database capabilities- Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems- Fixed Asset Inventory experience highly desired- Earlier work involving Daily Cash Receipts- Knowledge of Journal Entry- Proven knowledge of Fixed Asset Additions- General familiarity with month end closings- Solid understanding of journal entries- Quality experience with Daily Cash Receipts- Practical knowledge of cash reconciliations- Wide ranging experience with cash reconciliations- Proficiency in Journal Entry Preparation- Good understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR)- Previous experience working with Aged Receivables- Well-founded grasp of Fixed Asset Depreciation- Foundational knowledge in general ledger- Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines- Fully formed organizational, written and verbal communication skills- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to exercise good judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis- Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement- Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment- Recent and relevant accounting experience
