Childcare Center in Northridge,C.A is Looking for dedicated,skilled and
caring teacher for our high quality early education programs in the San Fernando Valley.
JOB SUMMARY:
Implement a preschool program based on the High/Scope Curriculum.
Supervise and interact with children in a positive manner.
Use sensitivity and good judgment when interacting with children, parents, and staff.
Provide a wide variety of experiences for children with an emphasis on active learning.
Encourage language development and respect for language diversity in the classroom and community.
Work effectively with other team members.
Plan or participate in planning and implementing parents meetings and activities.
Provide a clean and sanitary (inside and out) on a daily basis.
Promote full enrollment, and participate in recruitment of children as directed.
Responsible for developing lesson plans for classroom, and develop short and long term goals for individual child and overall group.
Secure health, hygiene, safety, and overall well-being of children at all times.
REQUIREMENTS: Teachers applicants should have a minimum of 12 units in early childhood education and 3 infant/toddler units; have a criminal record and TB clearance and current CPR/First Aid.
Assistant teachers-a minimum of 6 units in early childhood education, have a criminal record and TB clearance and current CPR/First Aid.
Two to three years of experience in a preschool setting is greatly preferred.
