The JobWe are seeking a Product Configuration Specialist to join the Implementations team within the IT department. This role is being offered as a 12 month fixed term contract. The main focus of the role is the implementation of new client sites and client change requests. In addition, there will be varied responsibilities across the areas of quality assurance and operational customer tasks such as data loading. The role involves extensive use of SQL scripts and HTML files for configuring Globoforce's Enterprise Java software platform.
Main responsibilities• Have an in-depth understanding of Globoforce platform configuration options • Implement new client sites on the Globoforce platform• Implement change requests on existing client sites• Assist in the execution of operational tasks owned by the Implementations team including loading customer data and verification of deployments
Required skills, knowledge and experience• 1-2 years IT industry experience, working with web-based software solutions• Experience with HTML and SQL
Desirable • Background in software QA• Some experience with database and/or JSP technologies• High attention to detail in their work• Ability to balance conflicting priorities • Experience of working with diverse teams (technical and non-technical)• Strong customer focus and on delivering the right solution for the customer • Strong Documentation and Communication Skills
