За все фирмы не скажу, но многие здесь охотно берут на работу приехавших по working holiday visa. Сам работал вместе с ирландцами, англичанами и вашими земляками. Ничем серьёзным они, конечно, не занимались, но проблем с трудоустройством, по их рассказам, почти не было.

Практически все горели желанием остаться в Австралии на подольше, так что не удивляйтесь, если и вам не захочется потом возвращаться обратно в ваши снега :-)

your climate is the reason we want to come, we're so obsessed with it - we check beach webcam everyday - you guys are so lucky.... I am gratefull to my parents for immigration but ...God, why did they choose Canada? - we just got our first snow - 20cm and -17, i couldn't find my car under this snow, and when i did - it took me 15min of digging just to acces the door.... ;(

<--- i ment student dormitory provided (not free) by some Universities. You mentioned "uni" before, so i assumed this option will suit you since one of you will be studying

<--- nope. The problem here will be to find a place that will rent you only for three months... its a bit shprt, and often people dont want to go through the headache by taking tenants for short periods of time.
But i reckon money talks. I dont know whats your budget during those three months of stay, but if you go to one of the agencies and offer to pay upfront, i think you will be easily to find place in the centre of the city.

1. are you coming on a student visa, like exchange student?
if you are, you allowed to work only 20 hours per week,

2. In Australia, rent is calculated per week for everyone... but you pay monthly.
If you want to know your monthly rent, then:
52 x {rent-per-week} / 12 == {rent-per-month}

3. I am pretty sure you wont be able to get you self a job remotely over the Internet. You will have to get here, and then kak govoritsa "obivat porogi".

Same with appartment/house/flat - quite difficult to do it over the internet, once you are here you can go look for your self. Talk to agents etc. I can suggest some student accommodation for starters?

<--- do you mean seasonal part time work? I cant really say "in winter much less, but in summer way more"... depends on your luck and market situation...

<--- seichas ne znau.. ludi teriaut raboti... podrabotky vsegda mojno naiti... naprimer gde-to v barah... a shtob vot tak v office mojet bit slojnovato... bank sector loses a lot of jobs now...

i think you do have more chances to find some work in the clubs/pubs/restaurants ...
