Your responsibilities- Operate with business partners to create compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests- Create analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)- Be a part of various department-wide initiatives- Carry out monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP- Compose Balance Sheet account reconciliations- Ad-hoc projects as required- Arrange quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors- Continually improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process- Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reportingRequirements- Demonstrated skills in interacting effectively, both verbally and in writing, with functional managers- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desired- Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity- Highly organized and self-motivated- We are searching for candidates that are proficient in financial reporting- Manufacturing experience preferred- General Ledger System experience- Well-founded grasp of year end closings- Proven knowledge of month end closings- Solid understanding of SAP- Experience with financial analysis- General ledger experience- Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision- Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines- Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience- Experience in SOX control execution/documentation- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills- Aptitude for analyzing financial data and generating accurate reports in a timely manner- Proficiency with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required- Proficient in ERP systems
